About Us

Tankfarm was originally an independent record label founded by two brothers in 2001. When the labels t-shirts started outselling their music the progression towards fashion became apparent. The quality and success of the t-shirts can be attributed to the founders being 4th generation printers. Implementing there fathers screen print knowledge and work ethic. The style is most accurately described as “New American Vintage”. A blend of authentic vintage and adapted street wear for working class heroes.

In the tradition of our heroes like Dylan and Cash, music is our passion. For that reason there is a musical premise woven into many of our themes and designs. Our aesthetic also includes nostalgic and vintage Americana  - referring to the birth of rock’n’roll and a slower and more meaningful time. 

Since 2003 the Brand has been sold at boutiques and high-end retail locations such as Fred Segal, Kitson, Atrium, Nordstrom, and Metropark just to name a few.
